What customers say
This well-run campsite offers a peaceful and quiet experience with beautiful views. Visitors consistently praise the immaculate cleanliness of the portaloos and the spacious, well-maintained fields. While described as "back to basics," the site provides essential facilities like drinking water and a washing-up area, with some mentioning future shower additions. Owners are noted as friendly and attentive, regularly checking and topping up provisions. Some minor concerns include the rough access road and the basic nature of facilities for the price, though managers note pricing aligns with similar local sites.

Really great place! Very relaxed and very clean and looked after!
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Very quiet and peaceful, toilets & bins dotted around all very clean! Drinking water available on tap and a washing up station for dishes, aswell as showers that are x 2 £1 coins. Eggs for sale on sight £1.80 for 6 I think it was. Really great stay will definitely come again! Owners were very accommodating with late check in as we got stuck in traffic, so we arrived around 9pm. There is also a little park on site.
Disliked Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Back to basics campsite with portaloos and a shower. Could do with a sink in the shower room for brushing teeth, shaving or just having a wash but other than that site was perfect for what we needed for a night

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Peaceful, lovely location overlooking the hills and estuary in the south lakes.
Great price too 😉
Disliked The road in is a bit rough. Actually hit the bottom of my car on a particular brutal speed bump/rain bar on the way in. Ive not a low car, (astra estate) but it was a bit close. And yes I was going super slow.
