Tucked in between the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District National Park and the North Pennines National Landscape, Cumbria’s Eden Valley is a particularly lovely location for a rural break. There are spectacular views wherever you look, and heaps of excellent options for outdoorsy activities including walks, fishing, horse riding, cycling and watersports.
Right here surrounded by that fabulous scenery is Eden Heights Glamping, a small and peaceful site about 10 minutes’ drive south of Appleby-in-Westmorland. The pods here are handily placed for all sorts of days out, and they provide a cosy and comfortable place to wind down for a while and soak up some of those gorgeous green views.
To help you make the most of your alfresco time, each pod has its own private patio area with seating and a barbecue; for an extra charge you can also boost your outdoor experience with a firepit or use of the open-air hot tub.
Inside, your pod has pretty much everything you need for your stay – each one is spacious and self contained with its own ensuite shower room, a fully equipped kitchenette and a comfy kingsize bed (plus a pull-out sofa bed if booked for more than two people). Double glazing keeps it all cosy, and there are lots of little extra touches, from the heated towel rail and USB charging points to the Smart TV and free wifi connection. Towels and bed linen are provided too, so you won’t have to bother with a long packing list when you book a break here.

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
