What customers say
Guests consistently praise the exceptionally peaceful setting and spotless, well-equipped cabins. The fishing is a major draw, with many reporting excellent catches and enjoyable experiences on the lakes and Kingfisher Pond. Host George is frequently commended for his exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. Minor points raised include the sofa bed comfort and a wish for fridge facilities and electricity. Some found the fishing challenging at times and one reviewer noted the cost for a single night.

Kingfisher cabin
Liked We stayed here to fish and wasn't disappointed, caught on corn and meat all day an into night but nothing much bigger than 3lb but still had a great time. Double bed was comfy. Plenty of blankets, wood for fire pit and nice little extras like washing up liquid, shower gel, coffee tea sugar. Gas fire in cabin which was great and very clean. Shower outside clean and hot. This place would be amazing if it had electricity for a fridge! We'll definitely be back!
Disliked Sofa bed mattress only thin compared to the double bed so not too comfy for my 25 & 22 year old sons but OK for a short stay. Take firelighters to help start fire. This would tick every box for us if you had a fridge for food as we didn't go off site to the shops( if there is any 🤣)
