Excellent peaceful semi-wild campsite
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The field was amazing! So spacious, such a treat not to be packed in side-by-side with others. I love the wild grass between the generous pitches, connected by mown walkways.
My husband tried the showers which are in the wooden huts, gas heated, and he said they were good but very hot!
The bistro was pretty good, pizzas were lovely. Bar was underwhelming, wish they'd had beers (just lager and cider, and wine etc.), but handy. Reasonable prices.
Ignore the moaning about aeroplane noise - people make it sound like you're next to the runway! It's really not that bad at all.
I love that they take your stuff over in a quad, so you don't have people's cars going back and forth, being noisy and chewing the ground up, etc.
We'll be back!
Disliked 4 portaloos are the toilet facilities for the camping, or a LONG walk to the single actual toilet, which was a bit grubby and no soap.
No signal or WiFi in the field.

Liked Very nice site for camping with the family.
Each spot has its own area with long grass around so plenty of space to enjoy. They even pick your stuff up from your car and drop it right at your tent spot. Then do the same when leaving
Great facilities - toilets and washing close to the camping. Nice cafe and bar that serves pizzas, hot dogs, hot breakfasts & draught beer
Massive plus was the super hot shower in the morning

Liked Great camp site. The way the camping field is layed out means that it will never feel crowded and there is plenty of room.
Good site bar room. Excellent pizza, including gluten free pizza base if you prefer.

Vast peaceful site, great views and great facilities!
Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Staff were great and friendly, the facilities were amazing, it was peaceful, natureful, rural with a gorgeous view of the marina, but with a bar and cafe - perfect. We only stayed one night but it was amazing and we would definitely go back. The site is massive and we had an great time walking round and exploring while spotting wildlife with our 3 year old daughter
