Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Location view size working farm Peacocks Alpacas open nature of camping field

Solo motorbike traveller next door - had a good chat.

Disliked Large group of young peeps who stayed awake being noisy, throwing up and then left all their litter in bags for the camp staff to clear up. Pretty sickening, selfish attitudes that made a nice stay not so nice.
Just no consideration.

What customers say

This site offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, with many guests praising the friendly staff and the charm of the roaming animals, including alpacas and peacocks. Clean and well-maintained facilities, including hot showers and eco-friendly toilets, are frequently mentioned. While the rural location offers tranquility, some visitors noted the steep, narrow access road. Occasional noise from other guests was mentioned once.

Route directions

If you follow Satnav direction, it will bring you to a small layby with three large rocks and a sign for Avona. This is the bottom of the drive. Continue to the top of the drive and then around the back of the house. Continue through the large gate in front of you to the camping field, find a space and pitch up. Keep an eye out for wet ground near the pond if it has been raining. The owners will greet you when you arrive, or if they aren’t there, they’ll visit at some point.
