Colne Valley Campsite is a seasonal campsite open for summer holidays and at other times for special local events. Situated in the beautiful Yorkshire Colne Valley, join us for a fantastic camping experience or choose our hardstanding pitch option for your touring caravan, motorhome or campervan.

Colne Valley Campsite is a short walk away from the centre of Marsden, where there are independent shops selling local produce, souvenirs and all the essentials.

There are plenty of country inns, restaurants, cafés and bars serving a variety of food and drink catering for all tastes and budgets. Please note, we offer a basic camping experience and do not have any shower facilities on site.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

Additional terms

We are a temporary campsite with temporary facilities.

You are responsible for your own safety. Behave in a sensible manner to avoid injury and know your limitations.

Your children are your responsibility and must be properly supervised at all times.

The provisions of the site will include:
Water (please bring your own containers)
Portable toilets
Basic first aid

Please note that there will be no showers available nor the provision for emptying your own chemical toilets. If you bring your own chemical toilet you will be responsible for taking your toilet and waste home with you. Under no circumstances this can be disposed of on site, nearby or into any rivers, waterways or on the grass or roadsides.

You are responsible for providing your own torches and it is advisable you bring a spare torch/batteries as many parts of the campsite will not be lit during the hours of darkness.

Colne Valley Campsite quiet times are between 11pm to 7am. This must be respected by all guests.

The speed limit on site is 5mph. Extra care should be taken when driving on Colne Valley Campsite, and all instructions provided by signage and the event organisers should be followed at all times. Please drive slowly. All vehicles on site must be driven by an insured driver and must have a valid MOT and road tax.

Please refrain from using any offensive language whilst on the Colne Valley Campsite at all times.

No loud music.

For safety, we ask that no glass bottles are to be brought onto our site. You should dispose of all rubbish in the bins provided or take your rubbish home with you. No litter should be dropped during your stay or when you leave.

No naked flames, fires, fireworks, Chinese lanterns or anything else which could be a fire risk.

Barbecues are allowed, but should be raised above ground level to avoid any burning of the grass. After using your barbecue, please ensure all flames are extinguished and disposed of in the barbecue disposal area which will be clearly marked on the campsite.

No illegal substances allowed on site.

No commercial trading allowed on site.

No climbing or sitting on dry stone walls on or surrounding the campsite.

Any damage to the campsite or to the facilities provided must be paid for.

Instructions given by event management and staff should be followed at all times.

If, at any point during your stay, a member of staff advises that you or a member of party has in any way breached these guidelines, failed to adhere to the terms and conditions or you or a member of your party are behaving in a manner considered offensive to others (including staff), we reserve the right to evict said guest(s) from the campsite and no refund will be given. Colne Valley Campsite has the final decision on any matter.

Whilst Colne Valley Campsite will undertake all reasonable steps to ensure that any information regarding the campsite is kept up to date, Colne Valley Campsite reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service or facility without prior notice. No refunds will be given under any circumstances.
