What customers say
This immaculately clean and well-maintained site offers stunning views and excellent facilities, including spotless showers and toilets with plenty of hot water. Visitors consistently praise the friendly and helpful owners. The location is ideal for walkers, with Holmfirth a short, albeit hilly, walk away. Minor drawbacks mentioned include wind from the site's elevated position and a nearby wind turbine. Essential to follow site-specific directions, not SatNav.

Excellent site, friendly greeting, pitch size is more than enough.
Electric grass pitch
Liked As soon as we arrived, Geoff came and welcomed us to the park, explained where everything was and that we had our pick of pitch, it was a very warm welcome. The toilets and showers was available throughout the night, which my partner was happy about, the toilets was heated which was a welcome surprise. There was a wind turbine behind the camping area, which was a nice consistent hum, which was great for white noise, wasn’t too noisy just a slight hum in the background. The power hookup points was greatly positioned. WiFi was great, didn’t realise there was WiFi until the last night but that wasn’t too bad as we went to avoid all that.
Disliked Honestly couldn’t fault a thing which the stay besides the wind which was horrendous which was just our luck, but reminded me of childhood

Lovely site with super clean facilities and access to town and walks.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Small and tidy site with great facilities. Toilet block very clean and pot washing under cover. Good downhill walk to Holmfirth in about 40 mins at a leisurely pace, uphill all the way back but it’s do-able. Nice woodland/reservoir walk also nr to site. Will be returning. Gerald always about for handy tips and help, lovely bloke. Farm shop and Vineyard 5 -10 mins walk away too although we didn’t get chance to visit
Disliked Not really dislikes just to note. A couple of pitches not level so don’t forget your chocks. Also showers are set temperature and I like mine a little hotter after a long walk. Shelf for shampoo etc in shower would be good.

Fantastic Place
Electric grass pitch
Liked Cleanliness, hospitality on arrival, plenty of space. Clean toilets and showers. Have no complaints.
Disliked The wind generator/turbine in all night and then stopped at about 7am when everyone was getting up. Would be nice for it to be on during the day but not at night when you want the peace and quiet.
