What customers say
This is a small, quiet, and well-maintained campsite praised for its excellent location, just a short walk from Ripponden's pubs, shops, and amenities. Visitors highlight the immaculately clean and modern toilet and shower facilities, often with good water pressure. Pitches are generally level and spacious, with many offering electric hook-up and water. The friendly and helpful owners are frequently mentioned, adding to the positive experience. The riverside setting provides pleasant walks and a peaceful atmosphere. Some minor points for improvement include clearer signage and potentially more toilet facilities during peak times.

Excellent site if you have your own bathroom
Electric hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked Great location: easy walk into Ripponden and also nice walk by the river.
Good, warm shower and washrooms very clean
Spacious flat pitch with water and electric hook up and a picnic table.
Disliked Only two bathrooms (shower, basin and toilet) and one washing up sink for the whole site. Generally we had to queue to use them / face a queue when coming out of the shower.
No wifi, except on phone signal.

Excellent staff. By far the best clean facilities. Amazing views.
Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The site had a gorgeous elevated position. It had separated micro sites on different levels which made it feel you had more space and privacy. The services were excellent. The secluded shower/loo/washup areas were spotlessly clean. The owners of this site, clearly have a vision for attention to detail to enjoy the surroundings and the layout of the facilities.

Well located, tidy and friendly campground
Electric grass pitch
Liked Terrific location, quiet, next to river, right in the heart of Ripponden. Variety of character pubs nearby, Co-op up the hill, great coffee in local cafe. Pitches are nice and close to electric hookups and water. Campground has two unisex combined shower/toilet rooms which are clean. modern and spacious and one wash-up sink & bench outside (need to queue for both at times).
Would love to stay again if we are camping in the area.

Booked backpacker woodland pitch by mistake.…
Non-electric grass tent pitch (backpacker, woodland)
Liked Booked backpacker woodland pitch by mistake. Wasn’t sure my Campstar 600 XL Air was going to fit but it did. Slight hill carrying all the gear up and down but worth every aching muscle and bone. 10/10 best spot on the campsite. Totally private. Campsite is nice and quiet, extremely tidy. Beautiful spot. I’m sure we either saw two deer or extremely large foxes.

Great site
Camping pod (adults only)
Liked What a lovely clean and quiet site, shower/toilets very clean and roomy and showers had great pressure and you can adjust the temperature to suit you. We were in a pod for the first time so we weren't expecting a lot but the pod was great and the beds were extremely comfy. Fire pit and table and bench were put to good use. This site is definitely on our list to visit again as we just didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted.
