What customers say
This is a friendly, peaceful campsite with spacious, level pitches, located in a lovely village close to The Woolpack pub. Many appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, opportunities to watch cricket and football, and the helpful staff. However, some visitors found the toilet and shower facilities to be basic, dated, and lacking in number, with occasional issues such as poor lighting and temperature control in showers.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Beautiful site set in a stunning area. Easy check in. Nice club on site which we tried on Saturday evening. Short stroll into the village where the famous Woolpack pub is.
Disliked Elsan point is a little far from the pitches. People on the back row of tents using our area as a walk through. Mainly kids, not adults.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Great site! Very friendly welcoming staff. We were directed to our pitch upon arrival and informed about the facilities on site.
We were given an information sheet with the codes to the shower blocks and toilets. There is a separate toilet/shower block for ladies too, which I personally liked.
Toilets are well kept and shower areas are mopped regularly.
The pitch we were given was very spacious and have no complaints about it.
Site is very well maintained and it has a club house as it belongs to a cricket/sports club.
Esholt is a beautiful place and the famous “Woolpack pub” from Emmerdale is in the village, and it is about a 5 minute walk from the site.
Check in is at 12pm and check out is 11.30am.
Disliked Nothing.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked EXCELLENT LOCATION, VERY GOOD PITCHES AND A SHORT STROLL FROM THE EMMERDALE WOOLPACK INN .
Disliked IF I HAD TO BE HONEST THEY REALLY NEED TO INVEST IN BETTER SHOWER AND TOILET FACILITIES , THEY BOAST NEARLY 90 PITCHES BUT THERE ARE 2 TOILETS AND 2 SHOWERS, THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL LADIES ONE IN THE CRICKET BUILDING BUT STILL NOT ENOUGH AND STILL VERY DATED AND BASIC . WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY BUT THIS WAS THE ONLY MINUS . WASTE DISPOSAL NOT GOOD AS WELL , AND DIFFERENT CODES FOR DIFFERENT DOORS .
