Great little site. Spacious pitches, with a helpful & friendly owner.
Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Spacious pitches.
Great location.
Peter the owner is friendly and helpful, telling us about some local dog walks.
So good we booked it again.
Disliked There were a group of 3 tent pitches that were very noisy up until 10pm, and a bit noisy after 10 on the first night we arrived. Peter apologised to us the next morning, even though he'd tackled them a couple of times and had threatened to throw them off site. We weren't too disturbed by them and they were quiet for the remaining 2 nights. It can happen anywhere but it's whether and how it's dealt with, which Peter did.
The entrance is a bit tight for our 8' wide and 8.2m long caravan. Manageable, but tight.
There are only 1 men's and 1 women's toilet / shower.

Most amazing site
Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked This is honestly one of the best sites we’ve ever stayed at and without a doubt one of our favourites.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully cared for. If you’re looking for a quiet rural escape surrounded by nature, this place is absolutely perfect.
Peter and Natalie are truly exceptional hosts. They are some of the warmest, kindest people we’ve met while travelling. They were amazing with our young children and made such an effort to make them feel included. Peter took time out of his busy day to chat with the kids, let them sit on the tractors, and teach them little things about the land and local area, which they absolutely loved. Natalie was equally thoughtful and even surprised the children with bubbles, which completely made their day.
Peter also gave us brilliant recommendations for places to visit locally, and thanks to his advice we discovered some amazing spots we otherwise would have missed. It really added something special to our trip.
The site itself is spotless, extremely well maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. The pitches are generously sized with both grass and hard standing options, making it ideal for tents, caravans, or campers. The electric hookup worked perfectly throughout our stay.
The facilities were excellent. The toilets and showers were always incredibly clean and clearly checked regularly throughout the day. I belive during busier periods there are also additional portaloos available.
We loved the little touches too, like being able to hire a fire pit and buy logs on site for £6 a bag. Sitting around the fire in the evening surrounded by birdsong, horses grazing nearby, roaming pheasants, and the beautiful natural spring at the bottom of the site felt genuinely magical.
We stayed as a family group of 7 with two children under 4, so we really appreciated the quiet atmosphere. The site has rules around noise after 10pm which made it feel relaxed and family friendly rather than chaotic or overcrowded.
There’s no WiFi on site, but honestly that’s part of the charm. We still had great phone signal, but it was lovely to properly switch off and enjoy the surroundings instead.
We genuinely cannot wait to come back next year. Thank you so much Peter and Natalie for creating such a special place. You’ve made memories our family will talk about for a very long time.
