On the outskirts of Longhorsley and 15 minutes’ drive from Morpeth, it’s within easy reach of some spectacular landscapes. With Northumberland National Park to the west and dune-backed beaches like stunning Druridge Bay to the east, the park has a splendid location for exploring the very best of the region. Open all year, Forget Me Not’s spacious touring pitches are designed for comfort and convenience. Site staff members take pride in maintaining high standards across the park: facilities are regularly monitored, and rules are politely but firmly upheld to preserve the peaceful, safe and welcoming environment. You can unwind on lawns handy for barbecues, with essentials available from Longhorsley village shop – there’s also a supermarket in Longframlington (10 minutes’ drive) for larger stock-ups. If you’d prefer to dine out, the on-site Prince William Bar and Grill offers dishes like fish and chips, sandwiches and indulgent desserts; there are also several excellent local restaurants within a short drive. Everything is set up for families; leisure facilities include outdoor and indoor playgrounds with a mini adventure course and soft play zone. There’s also a dedicated parent-and-baby room, a well-equipped launderette and accessible facilities in the modern amenities block. Due to the fall of the land, a few pitches may retain minor surface water during very wet weather. Depending on pitch layout and vehicle size, you may need long hoses or electric cables; the on-site team is on hand to ensure your set-up is seamless.

  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Vehicles

  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
  • The Prince William Bar and Grill is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and from 24 to 26 December. Continental touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans (built with the passenger door on the right-hand side) are not permitted.

Liked They advise its dog friendly. But no dogs are allowed in the bar. Pub or any part of the building. On leaving we informed them of our likes and dislikes. We was told its going to be all dog friendly from 1st October 2026. Great news

Liked Well maintained site with plenty of space

Disliked Shower and toilet facilities are open to the elements, in a wooden shack type building. Doors are not sealed to the top, allowing the cold outside air to flow freely into each individual cubicle.

Liked Absolutely immaculate grounds. Plenty of dog bins, dustbins/recycling bins areas. Our pitch was near the pub but there was no noise at night. All food on menu can be a takeaway, which we did, as dogs not allowed inside. Found the staff friendly.

Disliked Slightly disappointed with the shower/toilet facilities, however they were spotless at all times of the day. They need updating to bring up to the standard of the rest of the park. Two out of the four showers were out of order and a couple of the hand basins were too.
There’s no shop for essentials for a park this size I was quite surprised.
We also thought along with our neighbours that the fully serviced pitches were on the small side.
