What customers say
This is a well-regarded, spacious campsite with excellent views, ideal for visiting Hadrian's Wall. Guests praise the friendly, helpful owners and good value for money. Facilities are generally clean and functional, though some mention a need for minor upgrades. The site offers flexibility in pitching, with separate fields catering to families and those seeking quieter stays. While most reviews are positive, a few mention noise from large groups during busy periods and occasional queues for wash-up sinks. Electric hook-up pitches can have a slight incline.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Friendly hosts, open space, being able to camp with groups. Tree swing and football goals for kids.
Disliked A little pricey compared to other sites for what you get. Toilet facilities clean but could do with a couple more and bit pf space to get ready.

Liked Great location with beautiful views - great stars at night.
Facilities were good.
Owner seemed really friendly (only saw her on arrival)
Would stay again.
Disliked We would be cautious about booking again on a school holiday, weekend night. It was really noisy late into the evening. (This is probably more about individual parenting and not directly in control of the site to be fair)
