  • Peaceful dog-friendly touring pitches in Slaley Forest
  • A 15-minute drive from Corbridge, Hadrian’s Wall and Hexham
  • Derwent Reservoir watersports 15 minutes' drive away
Springhouse Boutique Holiday Park is a dog-friendly touring site within 15 minutes’ drive of Hadrian’s Wall, Corbridge, Hexham and Derwent Reservoir. You’ll always have something to do from here, whether it's walking, cycling, wildlife spotting or admiring the dark skies. Surrounded by Slaley Forest in Northumberland, the pitches are peaceful as well as scenic. When you feel like it, it’s a 10-minute drive to the edge of the North Pennines and the Hadrian's Wall Path is also just a 15-minute drive away for additional rambles. There’s good access to lots of other top-notch Northumberland spots too. First on your radar might be Corbridge, whose traditional marketplace has a bakery and traditional grocer. The Roman town has an open-air museum and rare Roman armour. Historical pubs also line the streets should you want to grab a pub lunch while out. Like Corbridge, Hexham is a 15-minute drive away. On the banks of the river Tyne, this market town has a large abbey, museum, park and lots of different eateries.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Shower block. On site bar. On site shop. Playground. Woodland walk. Site immaculate.

Disliked: Touring wifi poor at cedar area. No tv reception. Approach roads, there are 3 from the north, mostly narrow, best one comes over Corbridge bridge. Road right before site entrance badly potholed.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Lovely staff. Nice playground and bar area. Clean site. Remote location so great night sky. Cute bunnies. Free ice maker for use. Nice large bathrooms in toilet block.

Disliked: Food not available on the night we stayed. Toilet facilities could do with a bit of a refresh. Generally great.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Very clean, brilliant dog walk, spectacular wild life on your doorstep, very hospitable staff.

Disliked: The roads leading up to the site from the A68 were butt clinching when towing a caravan there. No dogs in the bar, so rainy days couldn’t go to the bar

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Nice and quiet and good for the children to run around patk in without constant supervision. Very well maintained site.

Disliked: Distance to grey water area as a disabled person this made it quite a chore when nobody else was around. The shop opening hours were very limited for a weekend with not opening until after midday.
