Such a great place from which to explore Hadrian’s Wall

Liked Loved the location! Very nicely landscaped with lots of trees. Big pitches were great. The toilet and shower blocks were immaculate and modern. The whole site was well maintained and there were good signs to tell you important information. Would highly recommend!

Disliked Main big bins at front gate nowhere near campsite so have to hold onto rubbish til you go out lol

From the manager: Our office hours are 9am-5pm Mon to Sat & 9.30am-4pm on a Sunday .
Our bin area is only a short walk from the touring area, we don't get our bins emptied if we don't recycle.

Liked Lovely site with a really nice back to nature feel. Nice walk across fields to local village for a drink in the local pub , not too far. Nice modern and clean toilet and shower block.

From the manager: We did have a shelf in the showers however, we would quite often find faeces left on the shelf.
We do have fold down seats in some of the showers.

Nice big plot to camp on…
Electric grass pitch
Liked Nice big plot to camp on with a big communal grassy area which was great for my young children.
Toilets/showers are modern, clean and plentiful.
Easy access to water.
We used the laundry facilities which were a god send.
Some lovely walks around the site.
WiFi access at the tent.
Nice and quiet/peaceful.
Disliked Would like a facility to be able to pick our plot next time.
