What customers say
This is a peaceful and clean campsite with spacious pitches, beautiful tree-lined lakes, and excellent fishing opportunities. Visitors praised the friendly owners, the tranquil atmosphere, and the convenient location for walks to a local pub and bus stop for trips to York. The Yorkshire Air Museum is also nearby. While facilities are very clean, some guests suggested there could be more. Occasional noise from motorbikes on a nearby road was noted during the day, but the site was quiet in the evenings.

Good site, clean and with quite picturesque surroundings.
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The simplicity of the site. Toilets and showers good. Quiet in terms of numbers of pitches. Scenery lovely, very pleasant walks around the shaded, treed lakes. Proximity to the Yorkshire Air Museum was great as it is a very interesting place to visit. Local shop.
Disliked Right behind a road used regularly by motorbike riders due to the straights and sweeping curves. Some could be a bit noisy. This isn't the site's fault though and didn't put us off. It was rarely in the late evening and not at night.
