What customers say
This is a small, quiet, adult-only campsite praised for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful rural location with pleasant countryside views and opportunities for walks. Pitches are generally described as spacious, level, and well-maintained. Guests frequently highlight the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner, Lesley, and appreciate the clean toilet and shower facilities, despite there being only one of each. Easy access to York by bus is a significant advantage. Minor points raised include the need for clearer signage at the gate and occasional issues with water temperature or ground conditions after heavy rain.

Non-electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Coded gate entry to a site that is so quiet. Never stayed on a site so peaceful. Nice big plots. Drinking water tap behind our pitch, which was great to keep filling our dogs water bowls up. Lovely to see horses and sheep in the field behind you. Lots of walks to do from the site which are mapped out for you to look at near the toilet and shower building. Lesley the owner was on the other end of the phone if needed and came to meet us to make sure we were ok on the first day 😊
