Liked: Just myself and my son camping and we were really looked after by Andy during our stay. He helped us with the tent and advised us on places to eat and how to get about. First time camping in years and it was a fab experience. Thanks

Liked: Everything! Simple site with clean facilities, hot showers (with proper space to dry and dress!), thoughtful little extras that make a big difference, especially in poor weather, like a kettle and a hairdryer. Beautiful views and well located for going into York. A very friendly, welcoming site.

Liked: Everything was perfect - a very beautiful and peaceful spot especially considering it was bank holiday. Very easy to access York. Nice hot showers and clean facilities. Kettle and hairdryer a pleasant addition! In the evening we saw a barn owl hunting in the field by our tent.
