Electric optional gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Bar/cafe. Showers.
Disliked: Pitch was so small I had to put my car wheels onto the grass even though I was asked not to, the toilet stalls were so small you could have played footsie with the next stall and for some unknown reasons the toilet roll holder was directly behind you making it very awkward to use. Electric on a card is a pain.

Liked: Easy to find. Reasonably well laid out. The pitch's gradient meant it was not straightforward getting the van onto the ramps as the gravel offered little or no grip for the tyres. Facilities were adequate and functional. No issues encountered during the stay.

Liked: The reception staff are very helpful, and the site is well managed. We were moved pitches before arrival as an assessment had been made on the ground conditions, which was great. The shower block etc we’re brilliant. They were clean, warm, and the showers were fantastic.
Disliked: The bar could be open for more hours, but maybe this is the case in the summer. The play areas could do with flooring, as they were very boggy. Again, summer I imagine is lovely

Camping pod
Liked: Not much really
Disliked: Charged 15 for 2 days electric and we we're out all day Saturday

From the manager: Hi Sandra, we are sorry to hear that there was nothing you liked about the park. The camping pods do not pay for electric as it is in with the fee. The hardstanding touring pitches are 'pay as you go' and reflect the customers usage, and high use will usually mean an electric heater has been left on for many hours either when a customer has gone out or left on all night. Kind regards, York House Caravan Park team.

Liked: This site is very well looked after, clean and tidy. The gravel pitches are a good size, the camping area for tents is in between trees which looks lovely. There is an electric hookup, clean showers and toilets.
Disliked: That we only stayed for 2 nights
