Liked What a lovely place to camp.
I booked for 2 nights. Friday was their 1st night of starting their journey hosting a campsite. Lovely couple with a young family along with grandma running the show.
I think they'll do well.
They made the effort in making sure everyone was ok and comfortable.
There are 2 fields, I parked up in the 2nd one looking over the river on the Dales Way pathway. Stunning views, listening to the water, birds, sheep and general farming sounds.
I enjoyed a walk along the Dales Way, checking out the stepping stones next to the huts leading to Appletreewick. Then rejoined the walkway to Burnsall along Skuff Road to Thorpe a beautiful little village.
I took a hike on the Barden Moor and fell up along Thorpe Fell, Burnsall Fell back to Howgill. The hike took 6hrs and the views where amazing.
I would definitely recommend this site to camp. I will be revisiting. Thank you Steven and Lottie for your beautiful surroundings.
Disliked I think they may need another set of Toilets and a shower as once the site is full the 2 toilets and 1 shower won't be enough.
Other than that nothing.

Liked I loved the peace and space this campsite has to offer. Run by a young couple who really want to make it work, both lovely and down to earth. Felt like a real hidden gem on opening weekend!

Liked Had a lovely stay, amazing views, plenty of space in the fields, toilets and a shower… what more do you need!! Was about a 45 minute walk along the river to the Craster arms in Appletreewick which was also great!! Kids loved it and the hosts on the farm were really friendly and helpful! Will definitely be returning in the very near future!!

Liked Hidden gem, stunning views of the river, wild flowers, birds and local farm.
Owners are attentive, humble, kind and nothing is too much trouble, make you feel at home whilst they continue to work the farm.
The toilets are clean and spacious, washing up sink available and hot shower.
Overlooks the river with beautiful waterfall and walks within walking distance. We will 100% be back.

Beautiful site; very warm welcome

Liked We stumbled upon Pasture Pitches as a last minute find in an area we have stayed often but was all fully booked on other sites (due to us being last minute and it being a sunny week in the school hols). As it turned out, we were Lottie and Steven’s first ever guests!! We had such a lovely warm welcome and were completely blown away but the beautiful setting, right next to the River Wharfe with the Dales Way footpath running adjacent to the field. This provides a stunning 50 minute walk to nearby Appletreewick, with its two great pubs and a 20 minutes walk to The Brownie Barn (where we had an amazing breakfast). The newly installed toilets and showers were perfect for this down to earth and friendly site. We have already booked another stay!
Disliked Absolutely nothing!
