Liked How small this site was think it’s set up for 8 to 10 tents and cars beside each ten.
All the amenities were clean
The host popped by to say hello a couple of times
It was very peaceful
Disliked The 2 tiny entrances getting in and out of the site it was a very tight fit indeed just a couple of inches either way and my car is not big

Liked Loved it, such a quirky place. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. It was warm and cozy with a friendly tabby cat that said hello when I was outside. The shower worked well, which can be hit or miss sometimes in some places. Recommend the pizza too, get your order in early though. Would definitely come back.
Disliked The latch on the door was a bit awkward and be careful of the road coming in too. Obviously not the establishment fault but it’s a single track in a lot of places but there are plenty of passing places. WiFi is awkward but you can get a signal from the house if outside.

Liked Absolutely amazing place to stay, the Lodge was such a cosy little place with a real log fire. The owner Cecilia is a really lovely and kind person who was very welcoming and helpful.
The Lodge is in a very rural location with a beautiful pub around 100 metres down the road.

Liked Second visit to the lodge at Bridge House Campsite, after being here 3 years ago, and it didn’t disappoint.
Comfy bed, (supply your own bedding and towels), the weather was hot and sunny for our break. We used the lodge as a base to explore, just me, my wife and our black Labrador. Spent a day in Grassington, the village where they filmed All Creatures Great and Small, having the fictitious name of Darrowby. This is only a 15 minute drive from the lodge and well worth a visit. Lots of restaurants, pubs and cafes and other shops to view.
That evening we shared one of Cecilia’s wonderful home made on the premises pizzas, which was as good as the last one I had on my first visit.
After a great night sleep and refreshing shower in the attached en-suite the following morning we took the dog for a walk around the fields and river, wonderful scenery surrounds the lodge, before heading off to Masham about 45 minutes away to the steam rally there.
Overall a truly beautiful rustic place to stay for a relaxing stay.
Just be aware of the many motorcycles out enjoying the winding roads around the area, and the suicidal pheasants that seem to be on every corner of the roads. Never seen so many dead on the road that have been hit by cars or bikes enjoying the fantastic roads(and not too many potholes).
Overall I can’t praise this accommodation enough, but accept it for what it is, don’t expect luxury 5 star accommodation. Give it a try, pound for pound it’s amazing value.
Disliked It’s not a dislike it’s just a warning that if you take a dog like we did ensure it’s under control when you open the front door, as this leads directly onto the road outside where vehicles do pass close, but never an issue for us.
Some people have said they couldn’t, get the internet, granted there’s no Wi-Fi but my phone on O2 still managed to get a signal to allow me to get onto the internet.

Liked Stunning setting, so peaceful if you need to escape this is the place ! Pizza on site spot on !!
Disliked Not a dislike by any means ... Just an idea the front door would be brilliant if it was a barn door (split) so we could open the top and have a breeze into the hut, only because I had a dog with me this was an issue, it's opened directly onto the main road that's all
