Self-catering on a North Yorkshire farm, anyone? Field House Farm between Selby and York is all kitted out in some style and awaiting your arrival. Keen to escape the kids? The small, independently run site is also adults-only, so you can enjoy some peaceful time as a couple. You're welcome to bring your dogs along too… So, what to expect? Each unit at this site has central heating, double glazing and a properly well-equipped kitchen/diner with a seating area and kettle, toaster, microwave, gas hob and fan-assisted oven. All linen and towels are supplied for the bed. There's also an ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower for cleaning off after muddy country walks. The TV and DVD player take care of any rainy days. And when the sun appears, outside there’s a grassy garden with seating and a barbecue (please bring your own charcoal) on the patio. Although you could probably quite happily sink onto the sofa and gaze at the views for a couple of days, that would be a shame as there’s so much to see and do from this rural corner of Yorkshire, near the village of Skipwith. Make a start by discovering the local pub, a 45-minute walk away and known for its delicious roast dinners. York is a 20-minute drive away.

Escape to the countryside and unwind in our cosy Honey Pod – a well-equipped, dog-friendly glamping pod designed just for two adults. Set on a small, quiet farm just 8 miles south of York, this peaceful retreat is ideal for couples seeking nature, relaxation, and a touch of comfort.

Inside, the open-plan layout features a king-size bed, a seating area with TV, and a compact kitchenette with oven/microwave, two-ring hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, and all the basics for simple self-catering. The en-suite bathroom includes a toilet, basin, and a spacious shower.

Step outside and enjoy your own private patio with table and chairs – perfect for morning coffee or al fresco dining. A fire pit is provided for cosy evenings under the stars (logs available to purchase on site).

We welcome up to two small dogs or one large, well-behaved dog. There’s a small dog run on site, and you can walk straight out from the gate into the countryside and across to Skipwith Common or the York to Selby cycle path.

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
The site will send you further check-in information 3 day(s) before your arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 21 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
