What customers say
Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, stunning views, and good on-site facilities including a pool, hot tub, and bar. Dog walking areas and proximity to local attractions are also highlighted. However, many reviews mention pitches being on a slope, requiring levelling blocks. Toilet and shower facilities are frequently described as needing refurbishment, with some guests reporting cleanliness issues and insufficient numbers during peak times. Road noise is also noted.

Great site, would visit again. Take big levelling blocks!
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Very quiet considering it was a bank holiday weekend.
Good facilities and nearby amenities.
Toilet block clean and tidy
Onsite bar and pool (didn't use either but still a good idea!)
Disliked Touring field on a significant slope; even with campervan on max ramps there was still a noticeable slope in the van.
Seemed like there was a pitch layout but it was very vague so hard to tell where we could and couldn't pitch.

Lovely holiday
Electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely campsite. Cleaners lovely and friendly. Michelle was lovely with my daughter. Playing peek a boo with her and having fun with her. Pool and hot tub lovely too. Enjoyed by all.
Disliked Only thing we disliked was the fact the campsite was on a hill. So everything was on a slant. Quiet a big one

Facilities great and well kept and clean. Site is on a slope.
Electric grass tent pitch
Liked The pool was a bonus. Book before you get there for private swim time. The view from the camping area was incredible.
Disliked It says unlimited pitch sizes but on the electric sites they are big but not unlimited.
The road noise at night but it’s tolerable but not peaceful.

Liked Helpful and polite Staff
Great home cooked food served
Swimming pool
Bar reasonably priced
Ample room on pitches
Dog friendly with a great walking area
My only advice to people considering here, would be to bring leveling blocks. As some pitches on on a slope

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Areal til hundeluftning nær åen var ok
Disliked Generelt slidt og beskidt på udenomsområderne.

Lovely well maintained site, not too far from Scarborough & Filey.
Electric grass tent pitch
Liked Great campsite, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good amenities with the onsite bar (with food) and games room. Had planned to use the pool, but didn't get round to it.
Toilet facilities were great, 3 toilet/shower rooms, plus one 'accessible' one. There were also numerous portaloo's in case the campsite got busy. The toilets were kept clean. Due to the slope on the pitch you got fantastic views, (its not like camping on a banking so no risk of rolling down the hill in my sleep).
Some nice areas to walk around within the grounds I think it is classed as dog walking area. Harry Ramsdens fish and chip shop in walking distance.
There were no BBQ's allowed due to the dry weather, but this is totally understandable.
Disliked Nothing - The ground was hard, but that is just due to the dry weather - i just need better pegs.
