What customers say
Visitors praise the beautiful sea views, friendly staff, and good on-site amenities like the fish and chip shop and well-stocked shop. Facilities are generally considered clean and well-maintained, with spacious pitches and convenient access to coastal walks and public transport. However, some guests noted issues with overcrowding during peak times, occasional noise disturbances, and the need for updates to certain facilities, particularly showers and portable toilets in the overflow field.

Liked Our stay at Crows Nest was perfect.
It had everything we needed and the view from our pitch was amazing. The facilities are very clean and everyone we met was lovely. There are some amazing walks from the site and only a short drive to Scarborough. We would definitely recommend

Really enjoyed our stay, nice restful weekend. We'll be back in summer
Upper area fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (super)
Liked Beautiful location, with stunning countryside and sea views. The site was very peaceful and the staff were very friendly.
We went to the pub on site both nights we were there and had a great time. The race night on the Saturday night was a good laugh and we even managed to win a bit of money!
The showers were hot and there was staff in there cleaning, both times I used them.
I think they were running the stock down in the shop ready for the quieter times, but you could tell it would normally be well stocked with a good selection of things.
Bins emptied/changed every day we were there.
Disliked Quite a bit of litter about, but when we stopped it was very windy so could have been blown about.
We had a couple of broken rock pegs on our pitch, which caused concern in case we'd driven over them when parking the caravan.
Luckily we hadn't and removed them.
Minor grumbles tbh as no damage done.

Stunning view at top of campsite.…
Lower area fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (super)
Liked Stunning view at top of campsite. Good hard standing pitches. Bus stop at end of road. Site grounds well kept.
Disliked Limited opening days for bar, entertainment, food outlets. (Only open Fri to Sunday) mid September. Ladies showers smelt quite bad (drains). Tiles fallen from walls, drain covers badly fitted. Light sensor in mens shower did not stay on long enough to have shower (pitch black)

From the manager: Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re pleased you enjoyed the views, pitches and location. As September is a quieter time, our bar, food outlets and entertainment do run on reduced hours, but we’ll take your comments on board. We’ll also pass your feedback on the shower facilities to our maintenance team to review. We hope to welcome you back again.
Excellent site with great facilities
Lower area fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (super)
Liked Great conservatory and club. Unfortunately they shut it for the season after our first night. Great shop with everything you could need. Spacious pitches. Clean site. Facilities were great. Would recommend.
Disliked Nothing to dislike

From the manager: Thank you for your kind review. We’re delighted you enjoyed the facilities, shop and spacious pitches. As you mention, the bar opening times are more limited when the season quietens down - it does not close entirely. We hope to welcome you back again.
