What customers say
This adults-only, dog-friendly site is praised for its peace and quiet, spacious, level pitches, and convenient location close to the A1 and local village amenities. While many reviewers found the facilities basic but adequate and clean, some noted they could benefit from an update, with a new block under construction. A recurring theme is the 6-amp electrical hook-up, which some found limiting. Despite occasional issues with roadworks or a lack of personal contact, many visitors found it a great stopover or relaxing base and would return.

Beautiful place, easy access to pub and shop. Quiet, lovely dog walks x
Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Beautiful place, little shop ten minute walk away, peaceful and delightful. We will definately stay again. We were there on the may bank holiday (few too many flies) no ones fault, they didn't appear to be the munching kind so all was good. Pitches had plenty space and the shade under the trees (because it was so hot) was very welcoming. Such a lovely place. The shower and toilet were always clean, and the dish washing for all basic the water was boiling. Out name was on the board at the front for the van pitch, very organised and would recommend! X
Disliked There was only one shower with toilet for both men and women. It didnt really matter to us as we had a toilet in the van and wasnt bothered on timings for shower. (A small dislike) very minimal and it certainly didnt ruin anything! Will go again loved it !

Loved it, again.
Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Quiet, clean and within walking distance of the local village shop and pub. (10 mins)
This is our second time here and, like the first, was a pleasant stay. The weather helped (scorching) The site is just ideal for a holiday and we will visit again.
Disliked Nothing to note here.

Gem of a park. Definitely be back
Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Easily accessible from the A1. Nice, easy walk in to the village. The Crown pub for a nice pint and the village shop for anything you may need.
The caravan site is easy to find and pitching up is a doddle. Pitches are allocated by the owners and you'll see your name and your pitch number on the board as you enter the site.
The facilities are perfect. There are 2 toilet blocks although we only used the lower block as that is where we were pitched.
We’ve already booked for the August bank holiday so you make of that what you will.
This is a gem of a site which we would highly recommend.
There is a regular bus service into Richmond although we tend to stay on site so didn’t use the bus although we will next time.
Disliked Nothing

We booked very last minute but…
Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked We booked very last minute but had an instant reply from the owner with our pitch number. Spacious pitches, really peaceful site, we slept so well. Nice walks from the site.
Disliked Only slight negative is there is only 1 toilet / shower for men and 1 for women so I imagine it would be busy in peak season.

From the manager: Hi, just to clarify, there is another toilet block at the other end of the site with 2 mens toilets/showers and the same for women - you wouldn't have necessarily seen it. And we are in the process of building a new toilet and shower block which will hopefully be ready by July. Glad you enjoyed your stay :)
This was the first night in our new motorhome I’d defo stay again
