This is a friendly, relaxed campsite with a back-to-basics feel and a focus on freedom camping. Visitors praise the owner, Derek, for his helpfulness and welcoming nature. Highlights include the beautiful views, especially from the stone circle, and the spacious pitches. While facilities are basic, they are generally found to be clean. Liked Derek is wonderful and kind. I felt safe there , a proper quirky site with loads to explore and I would definitely go back.
Disliked The rubbish was really bad as were the portaloos, but I think it had been a very busy weekend and I could pitch up right out of the way so no issues for me!
