Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked The owner was very helpful on arrival, pleasant and chatty while suggesting some things going on locally to check out. Site is in a nice and quiet location to camp, very useful toilet/shower block. There is a cell mast right next door so if you’re using Vodafone the signal is great. Lots of wildlife to look at and the scenery is lovely. I’d camp here again.

Great basic little site! ♥️
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Derek was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble and the site has an overall chilled relaxed vibe.
Very basic but the atmosphere far exceeds this.
Already added to regular list!
Disliked We struggled to get level haha but that was our preference on where we pitched!
And there was extra wood available to help with levelling the van!
So not a dislike! Just an observation.
Remember to take ramps!

From the manager: Thanks Jonathan for taking the time to review : )
Lovely place which feels like a campsite for such a reasonal price!
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Beautiful scenery, love the vibe and the regulars there are super friendly.
Great places to pitch and up the hill is a beautiful view alongside the really scenic (what I believe is) ritual site.
The farm owner left out some fire pits we could use which were really good!
Toilets are the best I've used and I love how the shower is a normal shower. Other campsites have those horrible push button ones but this one's just an ordinary shower.
Staff are so nice, the rules of the campsite are very unrestrictive and it genuinely feels like you're camping. Loved it and I want to go again!! It's a shame my friend wasn't feeling too great and we had to leave late.
Disliked For tents, very difficult to get some flat spots, you'll be contesting with others to get the right spot on a busy day, but it's like that with all campsites.
The road is surprisingly quite busy from when we went. But don't let that deter you! It's such a pleasant place.
