General

  • Single static on a working farm: have the site to yourself
  • Own enclosed parking and garden area
  • Views across the site garden and the Vale of York beyond

Cosy stays, fab views, warm welcomes and quiet private hols are all guaranteed at Helmsley's : there's only one static caravan on the entire site, so no need to share the place with anyone else. And it's in the North York Moors National Park too – you'll most likely think this site is a win and then yet another win.

The static has its own enclosed parking and garden area – really, you won't have to share any of your hol with anyone else – and is set adjacent to the farmyard with those fab views stretching south across the site garden and the Vale of York beyond.

It's a modern, spacious and well insulated caravan with central heating, double glazing and free wifi, sleeping up to eight – you might find that farm cat Blue waits outside for the occasional cuddle too.

The shops and eating establishments of Helmsley are a short drive away, but if you fancy being super organised, sort deliveries Tesco, Asda or Sainsbury's straight to your static: a good-sized fridge and freezer is inside in which to stash all your treats.

Please note

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs are not allowed in the accommodation units.

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Single-sex bookings of 4 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

We had an absolutely brilliant time in this wonderful, spacious caravan in the middle of the Yorkshire moors!! The family were lovely, very friendly and helpful, the area was stunning and a great location for escaping out onto the moors and heading across to the coast. A great place for a weekend break, we will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Lovely clean caravan located in its own small area within the working farm. We found everything we needed in the caravan. The heating worked especially well. Some lovely walks nearby. A good place to stay to tour around North Yorkshire. Thoroughly enjoyed North York Moors Railway. We even had beautiful weather.

Local attractions

In the North York Moors National Park, half an hour from Dalby Forest, an hour from York and the Yorkshire coast at Scarborough and Whitby... this caravan is in a crackingly convenient location. North Yorkshire market towns like Pickering and Kirkbymoorside also within easy driving distance.

As it's the North York Moors, opps are all around to go walking, cycling or horse riding in the surrounds: Helmsley, Kirkmoorbyside and Pickering as well as Malton are in the Ryedale area of North Yorkshire, known for its dales, hills and moor, ancient heritage going back to the seventh century (we insist you visit Rievaulx Abbey), walks along the Cleveland Way and the Wolds Way, and many traditional markets.

Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, Bridlington and the rest of the Yorkshire coast can be reached about an hour away from . As well as the usual seaside shenanigans, take time to go birdwatching, fossil hunting, historic house hunting and on nights out in the area's pubs and restaurants.
