Directions

Honeycott Caravan Park is half a mile west of the market town of Hawes on the B6255 to Ingleton. 17 miles west of Leyburn and 20 miles east of the M6 (J37).
We recommend touring caravans travel on the A65 and B6255 when travelling from the M6, not the A684.

Local attractions

Local attractions include The Wensleydale Creamery where visitors can sample the various cheeses and watch the production process,
Hawes has a wide range of amenities and is located on the Pennine Way and the Yorkshire Dales Cycleway.

Directly across the road from Honeycott are several footpaths all with stunning scenery leading to Gayle, Hawes and part of the Pennine Way.

The recently renovated Gayle Mill (as seen on BBC’s Restoration programme) is within walking distance of the park as is the famous Wensleydale Creamery which sells Wensleydale (Wallace and Gromit) cheese and has a well stocked shop, licensed restaurant and guided tour of the cheese making factory. The Dales Countryside Museum and the famous Rope Works where craftsmen display their skills are also in Hawes.

Or why not visit Hardraw Force, the highest single drop waterfall in England. Just across the dale and viewed by walking through the pub – what better excuse to stop for a pie and a pint…..

Hawes is also well within the reach of day trips to the Lake District with Kendal approximately an hour away.
