Thornton Lodge Farm caravan site provides a private picturesque 5 CL site overlooking tranquil fresh water trout fishing lakes. The views from the site are breathtaking.

The site provides electric hookups, chemical disposal points and other facilities including a BBQ and picnic area. Adults only. Fly Fishing is available - sign in at the Fishing Lodge.

A secluded rally field site is also available.

Bed and Breakfast available at the Farmhouse ideal to bring elderly friends with you caravanning. 4 Star accommodation and ETC Disabled Accessibility Scheme Level 2 and Award Winning Breakfast.

Take the A19 to Easingwold, take the sign to the Market Place - follow the road through the market place it slightly bends right along Uppleby (grass andtrees eitherside of the road in front of the houses) then you come to a little cross road (Post box on your left) turn left here signed coxwold and Oulston. Go up the hill (housing estate on your left) down the hill into the country take the next left turn signed Thornton Hill. (Road slightly bends right we are the 2nd on the right hand side Thornton Lodge Farm. Go passed our entrance passed the bungalow and the entrance to the Caravan Site is on your right, it is signed. Please park up facing towards the lake and someone will call and see you.

Local attractions

There are a number of unique shops in Easingwold and there is a footpath across the field to Easingwold. We are situated on the National Cycle route 65 and also have a number of footpaths including the Foss Walk going through the farm. Bikes are available to hire.

We are steepled in history and local places of interest all around us giving you plenty to see and do or just relax and enjoy the peace and wildlife.

Places close by are The Mouseman Kilburn - Newburgh Priory, Shandy Hall and the 12th Century Church in Coxwold - Castle Howard - Byland Abbey, Rievaulx Abbey and Fountains Abbey - Beningborough Hall and Nunnington Hall to name a few!

Fishing and Clay Pigeon shooting is available.
