Holborn Hideaways is a peaceful family-run glamping retreat in the small village of Barmby Moor, just outside Pocklington and at the foot of the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. Our three luxury glamping pods, Owl, Fox and Deer, offer a comfortable and relaxing countryside escape, each with its own private hot tub and outdoor seating area.
Each pod sleeps up to four guests and has a king-size bed, sofa bed, private bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette, including an air fryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and two-ring induction hob. There is also a dining area, TV, DAB radio with Bluetooth and free off-street parking.
The pods are surrounded by open countryside and provide a peaceful base for exploring Yorkshire. Pocklington is just a short drive away, while the historic city of York is around 20–25 minutes by car. There are plenty of local walks, attractions, gardens, beaches and days out within easy reach.
For guests looking to relax, the private hot tub is the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the Yorkshire countryside.
Deer Pod is also dog friendly, welcoming up to two dogs, subject to our site rules.

- The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
Vehicles
- Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
