Liked The staff couldn’t do enough for you.

Disliked People are letting the dogs run lose my 4 yr olds shoes where covered in dog poop and someones dog pooped next to our car and it was left no one was picking it up and people where partying till after 1 in the morning and there wasn’t much on the site at all to do. The shop had a power cut on site so we had to drive for 10 mins to find a shop.

However, I am sorry to hear about the issues you experienced whilst on park. Please accept our apologies regarding irresponsible dog owners not cleaning up after their pets and dogs being allowed off leads. We do ask all guests to keep dogs under control and clean up after them at all times, and your comments will be passed on to the relevant teams so additional monitoring can take place.

I am also sorry to hear that noise from other guests impacted your stay, particularly late into the evening. We appreciate this can be frustrating when trying to relax and enjoy your holiday.

Unfortunately, the power cut affecting the shop was due to an external issue with the Northern Powergrid supply into the park and was outside of our control. However, I do understand the inconvenience this caused in having to travel elsewhere for supplies.

Liked Facilities were clean tidy.
Entertainment venue and restaurant were excellent.
Evening entertainment was excellent.
All staff were very nice and helpful but seemed to lack knowledge of surrounding area.

Disliked Wasn't warned about extensive building work taking place.
Too many cars going too fast on site was hazard for young children.
No access to beach.
Disappointing and understocked shop.
Walk to entrance to catch bus quite long and over wet grass as no pavement.
On day we used pool it was chilly and showers were cold.
No where for motorhome to drive over to empty grey waste.

Liked The market on a sunday was the best thing there

Disliked We stayed Easter weekend, 2 nights out of our 3 nights stay we had no power or power was on and off constant, toilets were disgusting blocked up and never any toilet roll, the showers were freezing and after having no electric all we wanted was a hot shower, kids were freezing, couldn't get in swimming as fully booked up even when we went early to book, ive emailed them and had no reply we want some compensation for a shit show of a weekend. I wouldn't recommend this site.

Unfortunately, the power interruptions experienced during this period were caused by an external fault with the Northern Powergrid supply into the park and not the park’s own systems. Whilst this was outside of our control, I do fully appreciate the impact this had on your holiday, particularly with the loss of heating and electricity.

With regards to the swimming pool, during busy holiday periods sessions can become fully booked very quickly, and I appreciate your disappointment at being unable to access the facilities during your stay.

Liked Spacious pitches, electric, water and grey water waste at each pitch, plus plenty of room for car parking. Park has a shop, cafe, restaurant/bar, clubhouse/theatre, pool, Sunday market, play area and swimming pool. Facilities nearby on touring caravan park. Near the beach (although we couldn't find access to it and nothing indicated on the provided map). Got given a map and shopping bag on arrival.

Disliked Toilets had no toilet paper in. Showers were dirty. Electricity went off several times our first night meaning we ended up having to go to bed at 9.30pm. When we woke up the electric had clearly been off all night, the caravan was freezing and didn't come on properly until late morning. I think if you've paid for EHU you should be provided with continuous service but no refund was offered for the Friday night. Couldn't find my booking at check in and had to hang around until it was found. Had to ask for the passes required to access facilities. Pool only available for 45 min's first thing for adults only- should have an hour at the end of the day too (no electric first day so couldn't go swimming)

Liked Plenty to do on site

Disliked Our stay was absolutely ruined by the site allowing a tent to be pitched about a meter from the back of our caravan.

They were rowdy till 1.30am every night and did not listen to security when they were told to keep it down.
Sorry they did turn off the music but didn't keep their voices down till around 1.30am

This felt like they were in our caravan with them being pitched so close to us.

When I asked to moved to another pitch I was told no as you were fully booked
I do understand that it was Easter weekend but there were empty pitchs and felt like I was not taken seriously and ignored

The showers were cold each time we tried them
The toilet blocks were very disappointing basic and in need of a good clean.

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologise for the electric bollard issue during your stay. Unfortunately, we had to bring in external contractors to resolve this, which caused disruption, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience this created.

I’m also very sorry to hear about the disturbance caused by the nearby tent. This is certainly not the experience we want for our guests. While security did attend and ask for noise to be reduced, it’s clear this was not fully resolved, and I apologise that this impacted your stay.

Regarding the pitches you mentioned, the ones that appeared empty are seasonal pitches. These are allocated to guests who pay for the full season and are free to come and go, so we are required to keep them available even when unoccupied. I do understand how this may have been frustrating, especially during a busy period, and I’m sorry you felt your request to move was not taken seriously.

I’m also sorry to hear about the issues with the showers and toilet facilities. This is not the standard we aim to maintain, and your feedback has been passed on to the team to address these concerns.

We’re pleased to hear that you found there was plenty to do on site, but it’s clear that other aspects of your stay fell short, and for that I apologise.

Liked Great welcome from the security staff, was shown to our pitch, this was a large pitch, good walks from the site on the costal path.

Disliked limited shower facilities, other campers leaving the toilets in a disgraceful state, rubbish left outside the bins on the grass areas, not taken to the large bin areas. dog poo left on the pitch near ours when they left. the electric went of over night so it was freezing, of the 2 nights of our 4 night stay.

Liked The drive way in makes it look very luxury but once you get round the corner to reception you realise your wrong.

Disliked Toilets where disgusting never clean never any toilet roll. The electric was constantly tripped for one day and night across the whole site, staff in reception where rude passes not in envelope when we checked in went and asked for them and got them basically thrown at us.
