Liked: Relaxed feel, super friendly welcome, with lovely owners. Facilities were immaculate with radio speakers. ‘Thank you for the music!’ The team have gone the extra mile with information/recycling/electric bike chargers/freezer/eggs/bbq and fire pits.

Liked: Very friendly welcome, lots of info re buses and walks. Liked the free to use fire pits and bbqs. Also liked the Pygmy goats.
Disliked: Strimming around our motorhomes, grass could have done with a cut. Cut grass left on pitches which we walked back into our motorhome. Pitches aren’t level.

From the manager: Hi Wendy Thanks very much for your kind review Due to the unprecedented wet weather recently it’s made it very difficult to keep the grass short - and to collect it (we do usually collect it) as it continues to dry the grass will be cut frequently. Hope to see you again when it’s a little drier…: Thanks

Liked: The heated showers and toilets were spotless. Other sites could learn a lot from this. Fresh eggs daily, easy walk into town or into the countryside, good local information, the hosts had a perfect mix of checking you were ok and leaving you to it, easy check-in, nothing too much trouble, friendly. And again, the toilets and showers!

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: First visit to Butt farm over Easter weekend. Very spacious tent pitches. The facilities were spotless throughout the stay. We liked the radio playing in the bathroom too. My daugther loved the 2 friendly goats on site. There is also lots of information on local walks starting from the campsite which was very handy. All the extra touches really enhanced the stay. There was even a visit from the Easter bunny. Look forward to retuning.

Liked: Quiet site, generous sized, almost level pitches. Good clean (modern) facilities with good recycling facilities. There was even an area for securely locking cycles, and charge point for e-cycles. Friendly hosts who checked we we ok. Location of site within easy walking distance of lovely Beverley. For those not so keen on walking there were actually busses running on a Saturday!
Disliked: Disposal of grey waste from Motorhomes not easy as no drive-over drain. Facilities for caravan grey waste only.

From the manager: Thanks so much for your kind review Grey waste disposal for motorhomes is in the pipeline over the next few months Thanks

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: Delightful small site with a warm greeting from host Pam. Due to the enormous amount of rain over recent weeks and months the grass was sodden and made connecting with the electric hook up a muddy activity. otherwise site worked well for us. Good gravel pitches with good small toilets and showers block. Site well located for a 40 min walk in but better by cycles if you have them with you. Will be happy to return especially as Beverley is such a lovely place to visit
