Beverley: come for the horse-racing, and stay for the excellent walks nearby, the attractions at the redeveloped docks in Hull (15 minutes’ drive), or rugged North Sea beaches (half an hour). And when you do decide to make a weekend (or a week) of it, bring the dog along and stay at Beverley Holiday Park, just on the outskirts of this historic East Yorkshire market town (it’s 10 minutes’ drive from the town centre). Well-kept hardstanding touring pitches at the park are sheltered by mature trees and all have electric hook-ups; there are also modern toilet and shower blocks. The prettily landscaped site stretches over 44 acres with several lakes, so you’ve plenty of options for exercising any accompanying dogs. While there isn’t a shop, you only need to take a five-minute walk along the main road (the A164) to reach a shopping area with two supermarkets, a fast-food restaurant, coffee shop and petrol station. And of course, there are many more shopping (and dining) options in Beverley itself.

Liked Peaceful well kept site near the town centre.
The toilets and showers were spotless, probably the best we have stayed in.
The lad running it was brilliant and friendly.

Liked It'll be nice when it's finished. Great location close to Beverley nice layout. As others have mentioned you're placed on a static caravan concrete base.

Disliked Our base still had a pipe sticking out of the grey waste entrance by about 10" so couldn't be used directly. I ended up using the usual container and emptying it down a neighbouring pitch which had less pipe sticking out. For water I was pointed to another pitch that had a tap on it but the usual hose connector was too small. The toilet block only had 2 cubicles. Hopefully they'll build more.
The Elsan point also has no hose, just an external tap, and without a flush facility, hence the unit where you pour the waste into wasn't clean.

Liked Lovely spot close to Beverley. Walk in to Beverley even better when we found the "footpath route" out of the back of the site. Good facilities overall although lacking a washing up area.

Disliked Site is in transition from mobile home site so pitches, although large and level, are difficult to access due to lack of dropped kerbs directly on to pitch. Well directed and assisted by the site staff to cope with the offset approach. May be difficult in large motorhomes.

Liked Will be better when proper touring pitches. Great site which continues to be developed. Will be better when fully finished but don’t hide from the plans, stage of development or issues. Lodges and caravans looked first class.

Disliked £2.50 for 15 minute shower.. too much and too long.
