What customers say
Newton Lodge is a small, charming campsite with five spacious, well-drained pitches, praised for its exceptionally clean and well-maintained facilities, including a radiator in the shower block and a useful fridge/kettle area. Guests enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the free-roaming chickens, and the convenient location for local walks and village pubs. While the site is ideal for relaxation, some found limited on-site activities for children. A few minor points mentioned were potential road noise from the nearest pitch and the occasional early morning noise from cockerels.

Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Newton Lodge is a charming five pitch site with spotlessly clean amenities and perfect for a relaxing get away. Loved the shower room and separate changing room, with sink and electric plug so I can dry my hair in the warm if it’s a rainy day. Washing up area also has a fridge and a kettle, amazing if you don’t have electric or you’re camping with small children. The site itself has lovely well drained grass, clearly marked pitches (on arrival just look for your name at your site and set up) we had a lovely relaxing stay, will be back, would highly recommend.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Amenities: the Shower, toilets, fridge area were clean and well maintained. Clean pitches. Well kept flat lawn. In a nice area and the wider village and scenery location is lovely. All details were clearly laid out.
Disliked The site is just off the main road and unfortunately our pitch was the first one- a few feet from the road-Not terribly noisy with traffic, but mainly in terms of safety, having to be extra vigilant with our kid, or a ball spilling onto the road.

A really nice 2 night stay
Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Nice welcome from the owner. We chose our preferred pitch which was flat so no wedges needed, nearest the entry gate.
Facilities very nice. Nice village with lovely pub the Blacksmiths that does pizzas which is opposite a nice walk.
Disliked Nothing.

Really enjoyed my stay.
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Very clean. Friendly owner and situated near some great tourist attractions. Fridge and kettle came in very handy. Almost everything I needed for cleaning and for the shower was provided which also came in handy.
Disliked With it being a small quiet camp site there's not allot to do with the kids while on site.
