What a lovely little place… Co Durham's Daleview Caravan Park is a 90-acre secluded site with spectacular countryside views, surrounded by the north Pennines and on the outskirts of the historic market village of Middleton-in-Teesdale.

The site's modern shower and toilet block has free showers and underfloor heating throughout; there's also a shower and toilet accessible to disabled guests, along with a covered washing-up area and chemical disposal.
There is also washing facilities for pots and pans etc and also a fully working launderette.
Daleview also has a children s play area and plenty of dog walking routes.
We have 64 privately owned static caravans and space to pitch up to 40 Tourers or motorhomes, there is also a tent field with electric hook ups.

Daleview has a public house serving real ales, a full selection of beverages and simple food; a well-stocked grocery shop as well as country shops and cafés are in Middleton village ten minutes' walk away and a big supermarket is in Barnard Castle within ten miles.

Daleview Caravan Park and Campsite cancellation policy

No penalties

If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.

Please note that your deposit is paid to and is non-refundable.


A 15% non-refundable deposit is payable now.

The remainder is payable on arrival.

Pitches: a £20.00 deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure when returning the gate badge/barrier pass/toilet keys.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m..
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Hired accommodation
Electric not included in the rate and payable on site (meter in place).

Pitches: a £20.00 deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure when returning the gate badge/barrier pass/toilet keys.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
