Edmundbyers Youth Hostel is a 400-year-old building set on the edge of the Edmundbyers Conservation area. Camping is provided in the large rear garden with access provided to the hostel facilities. Edmundbyers is popular accommodation for walking holidays exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and cycling on the Sea-to-Sea cycle route. Derwent Reservoir attracts trout anglers and watersports fans or for a day out try Beamish outdoor museum and Hadrian’s Wall - both nearby. Meals and local beers are available at the local pub.
