What customers say

This is a highly recommended, family-run site praised for its immaculate cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, and beautiful surroundings. Facilities, particularly the shower blocks, are consistently rated as excellent. The on-site cafe receives glowing reviews for its food and cocktails. Visitors appreciate the animal paddocks and play area, making it ideal for families. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, minor issues mentioned include limited communication at times and some pitches not being perfectly level.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Lovely site, spacious pitches, really friendly, helpful staff, sparklingly clean facilities and great food in the Curlew Cafe. Loved visiting all the animals and strolling through the pathways mown through the grass amongst the trees.

Disliked Only one tiny gripe - the site is built on a bit of a slope so we found it a bit tricky to level our caravan, but we managed. However, the slope means the views are fabulous from the top of the site.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked Nice site, clean showers & polite staff, recommend the super full breakfast in their cafe at a special campers price that was in site information email.
We’ll definitely come back if we’re in the area.

Disliked Some maintenance needed in washing up area.
Also not the sites fault a very inconsiderate neighbour starting to open& close his campervan sliding door at 5.30am in the morning for 2 nights spoiled our break!!
Rather have wood pigeons!!!

Liked Everything! The cafe is really good - didn't eat this time but the food looked amazing and the cakes did too. They are trying really hard and succeeding - such a friendly site - wonderful views too. Everywhere was immaculate - great place for families and those without children alike. Lots to see ad do around the area too. We will definitely be back.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked This site is well laid out and is very peaceful. Facilities are clean and easily reached. Booking was easy and everyone we had contact with was friendly and helpful.

Disliked Nothing to dislike on this site. Wifi would be useful but is probably difficult in such a rural location.

From the manager: We thank you for the positive comments in this review and are proud of our customer service and facilities. We are a little confused why the comments "like" the position, but have only scored 3 out of 5 for location and that there was nothing disliked but we only have an overall rating of 6 out of 10, which is much less than the majority of our ratings.
