East Anglia bound and looking for a peaceful and cosy hideaway tucked away from the hassle of everyday life? Step forward Holton Huts, a small pop-up site five minutes’ drive from the market town of Halesworth, and within easy reach of seaside towns like Southwold (15 minutes’ drive) and pristine beaches including Covehithe (20 minutes) on the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
Best suited to single guests, couples or small families with up to two children, the comfy wooden shepherd’s huts are purpose built, self-catering and set on a tree-shaded three-acre plot, surrounded by nature and farms, yet close to amenities and services.
Each hut is simply furnished, blending cosy elements with modern touches – a luxurious double bed, dining and living space, a bathroom with shower, basin and loo, and a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials. Bed linen and towels are provided, and there are barbecue facilities and picnic tables in private garden areas as well. Halesworth has shops and supermarkets, as well as cafés, pubs and takeaways if you’d rather abandon the idea of cooking altogether.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.- No cars/motorbikes by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
- Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
- No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.
- There is no reception on-site: on arrival please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
- The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.
