Big Skies in East Anglia has lots going for it. Countryside views, outstanding sunrises and sunsets in clear weather and frequent visitations from deer, foxes, buzzards, red kites and owls – and that’s just for starters. Only open for Caravan and Motorhome Club members, this small, family-run site is in the Fens well away from towns and cities, so pitch-black skies allow frequent stargazing and satellite-spotting opportunities after dark. Set in nine acres of grassland, the spacious grass pitches can easily accommodate a large awning. Owners, their dogs and cyclists can follow countryside walks straight from the site on quiet Fenland B roads, but stay around and you may find yourself learning how to land yacht or paraglide (tuition and equipment hire is available). There’s also a pétanque court and fishing in local rivers to keep everyone happily entertained. The thriving Fenland town of March (10 minutes’ drive) has numerous pubs, cafés and takeaways as well as supermarkets if you need to restock provisions. It also has twice-weekly markets (Wednesday and Saturday) with lots of stalls to browse, and you can catch a train from the railway station for relaxed day trips to Ely and Cambridge.

Units longer than 12 metres are not allowed.
Minimum spacing of 12 metres between pitches.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
This site only accepts bookings from existing Caravan and Motorhome Club members: please provide your membership number in the 'Special requests' box when booking.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
There is no reception at this site. Please check in at the static caravan instead.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Bookings must not be for more than 28 consecutive nights.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
