What customers say

This peaceful, adult-only campsite offers a tranquil escape with spacious, secluded pitches. Visitors praise the warm welcome and friendly, helpful owners who provide excellent food options. Facilities, cleverly converted from horse boxes, are clean and functional. Reviewers highlight the quiet, beautiful countryside location and the opportunity for a "wild" camping experience. Minor issues noted include occasional litter and unannounced fees. Overall, it's highly recommended for a relaxing, back-to-basics getaway.

Sunrise field non-electric grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Lovely rural spot, a friendly welcome from Cheryl, plenty of space, open views, walks straight from the site and a great food van. Clean and inventive compost toilets and showers in the converted horse boxes. Felt safe on my own. Heaven 😊

Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Bella bell tent

Liked We had the most relaxing time, great place so peaceful and as for the sunrise fantastic, the food was great and made by Jessica who has a beautiful soul. Cheryl always around to chat too and nothing to much trouble even made me a
Compot from the fruit on site. What made this site was not a sound of a child anywhere 😂
Will be back for sure over and over again.

Sunrise field non-electric grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Lovely quiet site with unbroken views.
Cheryl was super welcoming and a great host, I didn’t use it but there is a food van onsite run by Cheryl which is a lovely addition. Really liked the surrounding area with many accessible walks that are easy to find using the OS Maps App. Lots of room between each pitch and each pitch has a fire pit that has no additional chatgr to use the wood that’s supplied.

Hammock non-electric forest floor tent pitch (secluded)

Liked Loved absolutely everything, perfect little wooded area for our hammock. We loved the feeling of total seclusion but with excellent amenities and only a short walk up to the breakfast van.
There was plenty of firewood and a flat area big enough for a tent if you wanted that instead of a hammock.
The breakfast was delicious, with healthier options than a normal van.
The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and met us on arrival.
Can't wait to stay again. Would be perfect for bike packing.
