What customers say
This is a compact, friendly campsite praised for its excellent Indian food at the on-site pub. Pitches are generally well-sized and the location is ideal for walking the Malvern Hills. Facilities are basic but functional, with 24-hour access to toilets and showers, though some guests noted a need for updating and better maintenance. Staff are consistently described as welcoming and helpful. The site is noted for being quiet and good value for short stays, though some found it expensive for longer visits.

Disliked We arrived on Sunday 1pm on 7/9/25 and the site and pub looked derelict with no one to check us in. The electric boxes were lying on the ground and the grass was long and seemed neglected. Since we left and went to another site we have been asking for a refund but Pitch up are saying because this was paid in full it was down to the campsite to pay the refund. Ridiculous as we paid the money to Pitch Up. Don’t use this site as it doesn’t do anything for you. Use Britstop or some of the Facebook site instead.

Liked Location
Disliked The site was very unkempt.
I didn’t stay the night as the toilets and shower were so awful and in a horrid part of a closed pub ,it put me off.
The water supply point was so overgrown with plants it made me question its usability so I didn’t use that either.
As a solo female traveler this site did not make me comfortable at all.

Great food, lovely staff but site needs some TLC.
Electric grass tent pitch
Liked The food was great and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Excellent location for walks into Malvern town. The site was quiet when we arrived and the toilets/showers remain open when the pub is closed.
Disliked Unfortunately, only one toilet and shower was available during our 2 night stay. Thankfully, the site was quiet so availability was ok but if the site had been busy it wouldn't have been great.

Nice quite site.

Liked The Marlbank is a quiet little site. And we enjoyed our stay. The Marlbank Inn offers great food and is welcoming.
This site has huge potential, but with investment. It could be a fantastic adult only site benefitting from a nice on-site country inn. But to improve it needs more footfall. More footfall with allow for more investment. Facilities can be easily improved. I'd personally trim back overgrown trees and bushes. Create 15 new electric hardstanding hook-ups and then have non-electric camping around the wooded area. I'd also ensure the gate closed so that the camping area is separate to the pub car park. In the interim a general spruce up, trim back and a few repairs will make all the difference.

Liked The Marlbank Inn staff and food are fantastic, they dont own the campsite. We never saw anyone from the campsite in 3 days. Andy the pub manager was such a nice man and a big help. He should take over the site!
Disliked Dirty toilet, only 1 working.
