Electric grass pitch

Liked: Immaculate, peaceful, location, v good value

Disliked: Need keys for toilets, buying tokens for showers - but then the pitch price was cheap so paying only for what you use. No recycling bins. No wifi

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Cleanliness, hot showers, nice wide gate, level grassy pitch. Not too far from three Counties Showground, Ledbury or Malvern and the hills

Disliked: Prefer a shower with a flexible hose!

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Having a new 4.5 tonne motorhome, I was worried that parking on a grass pitch following so much rain could leave the pitch in a mess and the van stuck in the mud; however, kindly, the owners put us on a vacated seasonal gravel pitch, which was ideal. Furthermore, we had a really nice welcome and the site was immaculate. The only advice I would offer is that this site is best for caravans as local walking is limited with a dog as the styles have no dog friendly access and so one needs to lift dogs over the styles. Also, the local fields are stocked with sheep and cattle so dogs must be on a lead. This is a lovely area and a very pleasant site, which is clearly very popular with caravaners; unfortunately, our personal preferences for local walks with our very well behaved large dog were not fully compatible with this site/immediate locality.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Clean amd nice place. Two water water tanks where you can fishing.

Disliked: Not sure if this site is really family friendly. Kids been told off by owner to do not play around because it's not a playground and send back to own pitch. No place to let dog out. Good place for oldish people but not recommended for family with kids.

Local attractions

The magnificent rooms of 19th-century Eastnor Castle (10 minutes’ drive) are hung with enormous chandeliers and adorned with portraits, rich tapestries and decorative objects. Herds of red deer inhabit the surrounding grounds, which also host medieval re-enactments, firework displays and other events. Stretching along the banks of the Severn, Worcester (half an hour) has a splendid 11th-century cathedral with a Gothic nave and colourful stained-glass windows. You can learn all about the city’s production of porcelain in the Museum of Royal Worcester, while the Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum has displays on the renowned local sauce. The cathedral in Gloucester (half an hour) is famed for its connection to Harry Potter (several film scenes were shot in the elegant cloister). The city, which is England’s most inland port, is also worth a visit for its Victorian docks, where former warehouses now shelter independent shops, lively cafes and institutions like the National Waterways Museum.
