Liked This site is a hidden gem!! Shush don’t tell anyone! It has everything you need for a motorhome stay but the truly wonderful delight is that it’s on a donkey sanctuary and there aren’t just donkeys but alpacas sheep and chickens. Truly lovely to see the site setting on a sanctuary. There’s a cafe too open on weekends for your breakfast butties and cake!
I loved this site the farmer was helpful and friendly and I felt very safe as a single lady travelling on my own as there are cameras on the site gates.
There a pub up 5 mins walking distance too.
Disliked Nothing to dislike, i checked the previous reviews and some mentioned the traffic noise, didn’t bother me.

Liked The energy and volunteers at the sanctuary are very welcoming. The site is well maintained and mostly peaceful although there is some low volume traffic noise at times, but we live in a city so traffic noise goes over our heads!
We can sit either outside or in our motorhome and watch the donkeys and alpacas grazing. The donkeys get playful at times which is a joy to see as they are all rescues and to see them living their best life is wonderful. There are also sheep in an adjoining field plus numerous free range chickens. There is a dedicated dog walk area which is very good.
The site is currently under further development but the work being done does not interfere or detract from visiting.
At weekends when the sanctuary is open to the public, the little cafeteria does the tastiest breakfast baps we’ve ever had! Worth visiting just for those!!
Disliked Nothing to dislike!

Liked Lovely location, the site was clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend. The staff were very passionate about the care of the donkeys and other animals they had in their care. There was also works in progress to provide more facilities, which didn't effect our stay.

Beautiful spot.
Watching the very cute animals!

Disliked The electricity meter ‘reset’ after we unplugged to head out. We had only spent £5 (but defo not used it) so no real drama. Just topped it up again.
