What customers say
This is a beautifully scenic and peaceful campsite with friendly, helpful staff. Bell tents are a highlight, well-equipped and decorated. Communal facilities include a fridge, freezer, kettle, and microwave. Guests appreciate the space for children to play and nearby attractions. Some noted a slope in the site and a lack of showers, though this is reportedly being addressed. Issues with portaloo smell and noise from other campers have been mentioned, with management responding to feedback.

Bell tent (four person)
Liked The views were amazing, the walks fantastic, everything went well. We stayed for 2 nights and we were the only ones on the site. Very helpful messaging from the owner on how everything works, checked in to see if we were happy... great experience
Disliked Just a little on the expensive side but we were upgraded to a bigger yurt

Really great, would come back.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Quiet, beautiful setting, really close to Compton verney, large shared marquee is a great touch, especially for wet weather. Toilets and showers were very clean and well serviced. Water was hot
Disliked Honestly, only slightly annoying thing was a local farmer had a bonfire somewhere nearby on our last morning but that's hardly the campsites fault. Shower heads are a little low for tall people but still plenty of room to stand in the cubical.

Bell tent (four person)
Liked Lovely location, has everything you need (and better equipped than other places I’ve stayed). 10 mins walk from Compton Verney which is fabulous for adults and kids alike and 15 mins drive from Warwick castle. Andy the host was really great.
Disliked Small thing but the noise from the generator was loud.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The beautiful site. Pleanty of space. Excellent facilities. Toilets. Showers. Fridge. Games. Washing up station. Communal area. The locality to Compton Verney gallery.
Disliked The playing of loud electronic music until nearly midnight by other campers. Such a beautiful campsriit would be good if there were rules about playing music.

From the manager: Hi Alison,
Great to of met you at the weekend. I spoke with the mentioned campers several times about respecting other campers and keeping the music at reasonable levels. We have rules in place, quiet hours between 11pm - 7am and I communicated this with them.
I am sorry that one group of campers spoiled your experience with us. Majority of guests that stay with us have more respect for other campers but their is always one!!
Loved out stay! Will definitely be back.
Bell tent (four person)
Liked We loved our night here! Andy met us on arrival and showed me around/gave clear instructions for all amenities (ie showers, drinking water etc). Everything was straight forward and user friendly!
The tent was super cozy and spacious. We opted to pay extra for the mattress and would highly recommend it. It was super comfortable and made setting up that much easier.
The site has beautiful views and great walking trails. Town is just a 7 minute drive, so we picked up fish and chips to eat at the site, which was so lovely and meant we didn't need to bring as much with us.
There is a lovely communal feel to the site. It was nice to see children from different groups asking if they could play with one another- I'd imagine the parents loved that as it is a safe enclosed space for the kids to entertain themselves, and for parents to not have to be on watch all night.
We were in Tent 1, which is the closest to the amenities. It stayed a bit light over night as the communal areas need to be lit up. This was perfect as we didn't know how our dog would do outside in the dark by a fire (his first time camping). This would be a great tent choice for those travelling with dogs or kids who might need a bit of extra light. If you need absolute darkness to sleep, you might want to ask for another tent (lots of options further back!).
We will definitely be back and are so happy to have found something like this so close to home.

Bell tent (six person)
Liked Clean, well kept campsite with beautiful views and surroundings. We stayed in their glamping tent with our 4 year old and she absolutely loved it. We had a comfy mattress and plenty of space. The owner Andy was fantastic. Great communication beforehand and he greeted us on arrival to show us around. We would definitely stay again.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely campsite only 3 pitches for your own tent. Perfect for us. Six glamping tents. Porta loos clean. Kitchen set up great. Once we worked out the way of getting running water.
Andy pleasant and helpful. It would be useful to have a list of local supermarket and good pubs nearby and places to visit. We went to NT Hidcot Gardens and Kissgate gardens nearby. Motor museum etc. The page does not have to be long.
Disliked Would have liked a cold water tap. To get water from.
Showers not great but I can see in the middle of the field not easy.

From the manager: Hi,
Thank you for your comments. I have taken on board what you said and I will compose a list of shops and pubs in the local area for future guests and hopefully yourself too.
We do have cold water tap from the mains as was explained in the welcome video I sent you. I am sorry you must of missed this vital piece of information. I am always available on the phone for any queries regarding site amenities.
We hope to see you again in the future.
Kind regards
Andy
