I was saddened by their lack of empathy
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Nothing as they wouldn’t let me in!
Disliked Being turned away because I only had a little tent & not a ‘roof’ tent. You could say this was my fault for not understanding the difference, but i am not a regular camper & had fled a bad relationship 150 miles away to find my family that lived locally away, so I booked the site & got a tent from my dads lock up. In floods of tears I begged her to let me stay as I had no where else to go, she suggested another site nearby but they were full. I see this is not the first time a lone female has not been happy with this site. I hope she never finds herself in such a vulnerable situation.

Liked The fact it was a secure site
Good levelish field

Disliked That the owner had to constantly let you in and out ( so we felt like he knew all the time where we we going and what our plans were
The showers and toilet areas were dirty throughout our stay with no toilet rolls at times
The shower was very hot for 2 mins then constantly cold, needs some hangers on the backs of the doors
No bins in any of the wash areas etc or toilet brushes
Old soap dispenser on the wall ( needs to be taken off and replaced with a pump soap that is at t6he side of the sink

Disliked The toilet block had both men’s and ladies toilets in the same area.

Nice enough basic site. Showers and toilets commensurate with price
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked We liked the amount of space that the field offered
Disliked No pedestrian access without the owner being contacted and walking to manually unlock the gate? I felt that this was a safety issue and in fact, I was stuck outside, unable to get back in due to not having a phone signal. At the very least, a doorbell system should be considered.

Great little stop over clean and welcoming
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Easy to find, good access, lovely little site with good facilities and flat pitches, very welcoming hosts.
Disliked Nothing, the main road outside the site can be noisy but it is quiet at nighttime, we got a good nights sleep.
