  • Peaceful and basic wild camping site in the Warwickshire countryside
  • A 15-minute drive to Kenilworth Castle; 20 minutes to Warwick Castle
  • Pub and restaurant 20 minutes’ walk away; water points provided
Santa’s Fields doesn’t overcomplicate things when it comes to a peaceful stay in the countryside. You see, this site is particularly quiet and peaceful, thanks to the Warwickshire countryside surrounding the site. Yet, it’s still 10 minutes’ drive away from the medieval fortress and Elizabethan garden at Kenilworth Castle and half an hour from Stratford-upon-Avon’s watersports and Shakespeare sites. The facilities are very basic here and that entails a water point, portable toilet and waste point. There’s no electricity, as the focus is on wild camping and the site’s large dose of rural scenery. Merrily, the pitches are part of a pleasant grassy field with countryside making for some rather pretty views. You’ll be well-positioned to get out and explore Warwickshire’s sights from here, whether that’s castles, country parks or National Trust sites. Henley-in-Arden is 20 minutes’ drive away, where there’s the cosy-feeling canalside, Packwood House and the town’s marketplace, church, medieval buildings and heritage centre. In the way of food and drinks, there's a popular pub and restaurant just 20 minutes’ walk from the site, so you won’t necessarily need to jump in the car to chase down a meal out and perhaps a drink or two to chase it down.
