Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch (large)
Liked: Not applicable
Disliked: ne can make mistakes. On reversing onto our pitch we inadvertently went on the grass (talking about less than 12 inches) and became stuck. Bearing in mind we had just left a site where we drove over grass and there had not been a problem. The young girl was lovely and said don’t worry we can sort it. I offered to call the AA. But no a young man appeared moments later with a pickup truck. No tow rope but we had one. Off, parked up , said thank you. Minutes later the owner wanted £50 for tow and repair of grass. In addition to this he said we had blocked the road and people found it hard to pass. There was room for a car to pass . No money had been mentioned up to that point. We said no but agreed to pay £20. Still waiting for letter headed receipt or till receipt. The whole experience made us feel uncomfortable.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked: Great little site for us as not far from home. A very quiet site with quite a few permanent pitches And adults only which is not a bad thing with no one running around at 7-30 in the morning. Lol Liked the fact you get the gate code and pitch number in advance although a site map would help navigate the site. It’s not a big site and I have seen people moan about the distance to toilets but this is not too far and while not a big amenity block, never had to que and all was clean and tidy. Can I pick fault, no I can’t apart from the envy I had for some of the 5th wheelers on site. Some people say the personall interaction is missing but personally I like that as I’m away with the other half for the weekend and not the site. Market Bosworth is a nice walk in via the country park and has a few pubs, cafes and posher eateries. An enjoyable weekend had.
Disliked: Nothing to fault at all.

Disliked: Bit isolating Only 1 male and 1 female shower Never did find any dustbins Struggled to get into our pitch because of the trees and where the neighbouring pitch parked their car

Liked: Pleasant site. Good pitch
Disliked: I never understand why people mow lawns or use a strimmer around your pitch at 8:30 in the morning. As it happens my friend and I were up but it’s an assault on the senses first thing!

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked: The pitches were huge and level and the site was lovely and clean. And it was only a 20 minute walk into Market Bosworth across the coutry park.
Disliked: When we arrived there was only 1 shower available in the mens and womens, which we thought might be an issue, however the following day a second shower was made available. Luckily as the site was quite quiet and appears to mainly cater for very large long stay motorhomes and caravans this didn't become an issue. There are no rubbish bins! We looked everywhere but couldn't find any bins for our rubbish when we left. Over priced. At £30 per night for a grass EHU I thought this was very expensive, even if the pitches were huge. And they wanted extra for WiFi!! Not impressed.
