Liked: We loved it. The owners were so friendly . The location is gorgeous and there is lots of walks close by. It’s my new favourite campsite .
Disliked: Nothing and I can’t wait to come back.

From the manager: This gentleman refused to check in which was a shame as we couldn’t show him the facilities and explain all the lovely things this village has to offer. I approached him as he had already pitched up in the touring part of the site which luckily wasn’t the problem that evening. He turned on me immediately and was very aggressive with his reply. I asked the campers next to him if I was rude towards him and they assured me I wasn’t in fact I was very polite and calm. The next morning the money was pushed through the door and when I phoned to reiterate that I was sorry he wasn’t happy and it was a shame because I couldn’t share the information with him he put the phone down on me. We pride ourselves on making every camper welcome and this has upset us so much This gentleman had entered the campsite by the wrong entrance so therefore did not see the signs. There is a large sign on the entrance he drove in that clearly says use next entrance, and that entrance has all the information for checking in.

Liked: The green man is a lovely pub with a beautiful site behind with level pitches, toilets in the pub open all night and there’s an on-site shower room. Since we went last time the pub is now serving food. The staff are fab especially Michelle the landlady. The location is lovely there are about 6/7 pubs in the area and a co-op 5 minutes away, 15 minute walk to the canal lovely food and drinks watching the canal boats.

Liked: The campsite was big enough for each tent to have their own outside space to sit. Tents were well situated to ensure privacy and our children had space to play in the middle of the field too. Wet room and toilets were great, clean and accessible throughout the whole stay.
