Like the idea of a rural adventure on the edge of the Peak District National Park? Get yourselves booked in at New House Farm just outside the village of Onecote, for simple – and scenic – back-to-basics stays in a peaceful rural setting. The site has spectacular views across the Staffordshire Moorlands and is well placed for walkers, cyclists and indeed anyone looking for a no-frills place to stay while exploring the local area. The remote setting is one of the main highlights, with a small pond that attracts local wildlife (please note that children should be supervised around the pond). After a day exploring the Peak District, guests can return to their pitch beneath the open skies – and while the accommodation options at New House Farm are by no means luxurious, that’s all part of its attraction – anyone who enjoys outdoor life and simple facilities is rewarded with a ‘proper’ countryside experience. The site is within easy reach of Leek, Ashbourne, the Peak District National Park and the wider Staffordshire Moorlands, giving you numerous options for days out, local walks and cycling routes, as well as country pub, theme parks and cultural attractions to explore.
