Liked: Very laid back atmosphere, able to pitch up anywhere which allowed our groups to all pitch up together and have our cars together. Able to play our music until 10ish, obviously kept noise down after that for other people but we had a really great stay, and the owners were lovely too. There’s also a pizza takeaway which was nice to have access too. And fires which you could pay extra for (we didn’t but regretted our decision). It was the perfect weekend for us, would recommend for groups of younger adults like us.

Liked: We arrived on Thursday, the first campers of four in total. That meant we got a prime spot for admiring the Roaches, a mile or so away. Plenty of space for plenty of campers, and there were many more on Friday night, and a good vibe if a little noisy late evening. Showers and toilets were good. We loved being able to walk to the pub at the end of the road. We ate at Ye Olde Rock Inn a short drive away, which was excellent. We’ll aim to return here soon.
