Quiet and surrounded by forested hills, Poolview Caravan Park stretches over 15 acres and is 10 minutes’ drive from the UNESCO-listed museums at Ironbridge in Shropshire; it has fully serviced hardstanding pitches for campervans, caravans and large motorhomes. There’s plenty of space for kids to run around and kick a ball, and a choice of woodland walks directly from the pitches, so you can stretch your legs and those of any accompanying canines.
If you keep your eyes open, you may see deer flitting among the trees on the edge of the park. Its central focus is the peaceful fishing lake, stocked with a variety of game fish for coarse fishing. It’s open from dawn to dusk for guest use, with night fishing allowed by prior agreement, and non-residents are welcome to fish, subject to a daily licence charge.
There are no-frills showers and loos on the site, which is tucked into the side of a steep hill. You may occasionally notice some buzzing from the electric cables overhead.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.- The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
- The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
- Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
